Great experience seeing an otter. We have then around us but we very, very rarely see them as they are extremely shy

I had the pleasant experience of seeing wild otters yesterday for the first time! First I saw 4 cross the
road in front of me...I got a good clear look at them but the photo I snapped quickly through the windshield shows just the empty road! Later in the day and on
another road I saw another one. Chatted with a forest ranger and she told me there are 1000's in the area even though seldom seen. I saw River Otters, I
think bigger than your Sea Otters? Anyway the sighting made my day...Hugs, Shirley
