A new computer carries with it the latest windows version so one is sort of stuck with it. So if you detect storm clouds over Atlantic City it's
only yours truly cussin up a storm while trying to get back in operation with Bill Gates latest implement of torture.

I hear good reports with the new Windows7 Frank, so bare with it. If you don't like it you can always load your old operating system back onto the new
comp. But, with all new OS it takes a little while to get use to. Apparently it far better than Vista and I have that confirmed by others who have used it.
Good luck

I am holding onto this comp and XP long as I can stretch it- new OS and loading all software and peripherals is a challenge - once you get past the curve you
may like it better

Here is a tip, download this software if you have Windows and you get into trouble
http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp All you do is create a CD rescue disk, backup all your data with this software onto a disk or external hard drive. When you get a crash or you have to replace your hard drive you reload everything back as it was. Make sure you back up at least once a week and then all you have lost is a few emails. I use it and just reload the whole hard drive without all that hassle of reloading all that software etc. A great fee backup program

I upgraded my Vista system last week with Windows 7 and I have to say that it installed without a hitch and has run smoothly to date.
It's a definite improvement on Vista, faster, loads and shuts down quickly and has several new features which improve productivity. I think Microsoft got this one right first time. Your Signature ...
