The Phoenix Photography Competition... is run on a monthly basis, beginning on the first of each month, with the closing date for entries being 27th of the month. An announcement is made here on Phoenix each month to inform you of the current theme and a link is provided to The Phoenix Information Centre (P.I.C.), where you can read the Rules in full and access an email link to post your entries. You can view current entries on P.I.C. and, at the end of the month, the winners are announced here on Phoenix. |

Digital PaintingDigital Painting is the creation of works of art from an initial sketch which is then painted with different brushes. The tools used are usually a Wacom tablet or something similar and a program such as paint Shop Pro or Painter 7.Digital Painting Challenges. Each month, a selection of photographs is posted in this forum and the Challenge is to make a painting based on it. Your finished painting does not have to be an exact replica of the photograph, use it more as an inspiration for your creative talents. New to this idea?
